Prize-winning Dutch reed quintet Calefax (oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet and bassoon) is ‘five extremely gifted Dutch gents who almost make the reed quintet seem the best musical format on the planet’ (The Times).  Touring across the world, their repertoire spans a history of music from renaissance to jazz.  In addition to the pieces listed, their highly creative programme will also feature:
Debussy – Prelude selection
Jean-Féry Rébel – ‘Les Élémens’
Germanus – Le tourne-disque antique’ for reed quintet
